Why do we host Wynwood Mural Fest???
We believe the Artists + Doers who have transformed the once overlooked Wynwood neighborhood, into a global destination for art, culture, entertainment, and innovation, DESERVE a platform to be celebrated during the week of Art Basel Miami.
GOAL # 1 To continue to provide locations (walls & exhibition space), paint, and equipment for emerging and established artists to showcase their talent during Miami Art Basel Week and beyond (as the Wynwood neighborhood is redeveloped and spaces for freedom of expression disappear);
GOAL #2 To strengthen the local and global street art community by creating opportunities for artists of diverse backgrounds and talents to mix, mingle and create;
GOAL #3 To engage the community and help educate the public about street art and graffiti culture.
Through education, we hope to build a greater level of respect and support for the Artists and inspire the next generation of talent.
